Hi, I’m Derrick Anderson, an experienced English teacher, Cambridge Speaking Examiner and IELTS Speaking Examiner.
I have over 30 years of teaching experience and currently work with around 30 students in Reiden and the surrounding area. I offer personalised English lessons tailored to your needs, including one-to-one lessons, pairs and small groups (3–4 students).
Proven Success: 95% of my students pass their Cambridge or IELTS exam.
As a Cambridge Examiner and IELTS Speaking Examiner (and former IELTS Writing Examiner), I bring extensive experience to every lesson.
To find out if I’m the right teacher for you, I offer a free level assessment. We then arrange four 50-minute trial lessons for a total of CHF 350.
After the trial, you decide how to continue. You can book as many or as few lessons as you need—there is no obligation, and you are free to stop at any time.

Whatever your situation, I design a course tailored to your needs—whether you prefer one-to-one lessons, learning with friends, or small groups of colleagues.
I also offer company courses. We begin with four trial lessons at your workplace to assess your team’s needs and goals, followed by a clear proposal outlining the recommended programme and timeline.
